Back in 1980, I bicycled across the USA with four friends from high school. That trip has never been too far from my conscious mind. I have been scheming for most of my adult life to do another major bike trip. About three years ago, when our company was purchased, my opportunity came knocking. The new company wanted to keep me around to transfer our data to their system. Now that the project is just about over, I am going to bicycle through Europe with my daughter, Jordan. We plan on being gone about two months.
Ever since I found out that my job is ending on June 4th, I have been in hyper-planning mode for this trip. I will give more details on all of that in later posts... Mark
